What is Drill Point Die?

The drilling screw is a screw with a self-tapping drilling head at its front end, and has the drilling, tapping and rotating locking functions with the special end. The drilling screw can be used to quickly penetrate into the object and screw lock when the object cannot be set with screw holes in advance and is widely used in the screw lock combination of metal objects.

Drill point die is the die to make the end point of such drilling screw, unlike other heading dies with steel case outside of carbide die nibs, the drill point die does not need steel case, in this case, the upper die may directly hit on the lower die, so it is important to have special carbide grade not too hard either too soft.
